PRO LEAGUE RULES AND GUIDELINES
SCORES
*Matchups consist of 2 doubles matches and 1 singles match. Team that wins best of 3 matches wins one point.
*Matches are best of 3 sets, regular scoring. 3rd set is a super tie-break (first to 10 by 2) and counts for one set in standings.
*The top 3 teams with the most points qualify for the playoffs.
*In the case of a tie in overall record for any seeding position then the tie will be broken as follows:
1) number of total matches won, 2) number of total sets won, 3) number of total games won, 4) head to head record. If two or more teams are tied in overall record for any one seeding position then the tie will be broken as listed above until one team receives the seeding position. Once the tie is broken, if there are still remaining ties for another seeding position, then the tie-breaker system will start over with head to head record between the remaining teams tied and so on.
*Playoffs will match up #2 vs. #3. Winner advances to play #1 in finals.
*Prize money is split 60% - 1st place, 40% - 2nd place
*Late Rule: 0-9 minutes lates is loss of toss, 10-19 minutes is loss of game and toss, 20 minutes late is default and match is recorded as 6-0, 6-0. THIS IS ALL AT THE DISCRETION OF THE AFFECTED PLAYERS THAT ARE ON TIME AND READY TO PLAY!
